For the fourth year, Legends Memorabilia is getting involved in Canstruction, a charity event to benefit the foodbanks of the Greater Vancouver area.
This year, they will be auctioning a variety of items, including some worn on Stargate SG-1 by many of the original cast, including Richard Dean Anderson, Don S. Davis, Christopher Judge, Teryl Rothery, Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping. In addition, Legends Memorabilia has also secured the right to a guided tour of both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis stages for two people.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Stargate SG-1 as they pick up another nomination in this year's Saturn Awards, in what is likely to be a close-run category: Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series. No stranger to Saturn nominations, this year SG-1 finds itself up against fellow Sci Fi Channel shows Battlestar Galactica and Eureka, as well as Showtime smash hit Dexter.
The winners will be announced on May 10th 2007.

The rumours were spreading a while back, but now it's confirmed - Amanda Tapping will be appearing in 14 episodes of Stargate: Atlantis next season, reprising her Stargate SG-1 role as Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter.
Meanwhile, it's been revealed that SG-1 stalwart Christopher Judge (Teal'c) will also make a guest star appearance in the upcoming SG:A 4th season, which also sees changes afoot with Jewel Staite, better known to sci fi fans from her appearance on Firefly, becoming a series regular and yet more cast changes in the pipeline. No word as yet on any plans for Michael Shanks, Claudia Black or Ben Browder to make the jump to the Pegasus galaxy again.

As the final episodes of season 10 air in the UK, and preparations are made for the Stargate SG-1 movies, what's next for the cast? We'll try and keep you posted here at SDJ as news breaks...
Beau Bridges (General Landry) takes a more comic turn, heading for the set of the pilot for a new Fox comedy - Two Families centres on a man whose two sets of adult children don't know each other exists. Meanwhile Claudia Black (Vala Maldoran) will stay in more familiar surroundings, picking up a guest starring role as a private eye in an episode of the Sci Fi Channel's Dresden Files, due to air on March 25.
Meanwhile, Amanda Tapping will experience even less culture shock in terms of who she's working with as she embarks on a project with SG-1 alumni Damian Kindler and Martin Wood - her straight-to-internet series Sanctuary will be available on the website in the next couple of months.
Everyone here at SDJ would like to wish James Spader, the original Daniel Jackson but currently appearing on one of our other favourite shows (Boston Legal), a very happy 47th birthday!
