
Stargate SG-1 star Christopher Judge (Teal'c) is just finishing work on the writing and directorial debut of former SG-1 guest star and Stargate: Atlantis regular David Hewlett (Rodney McKay), reports Sci Fi Wire.
The movie, titled A Dog's Breakfast, which features a television star from a space opera-style show, also involves cast and crew from both Stargate shows, including Hewlett's Atlantis co-stars Rachel Luttrell (Teyla) and Paul McGillion (Dr. Beckett), and is finishing production in Vancouver shortly.

Michael Shanks stars in the 'wasp' movie Swarmed tonight at 9 on SciFi Channel. A genetically altered swarm of yellow jackets is heading for the annual hamburger cookoff in a tiny Indiana town. Dr. Kent Horvath (Shanks) and co-star Carol Alt must figure out a way to stop them before a tragedy ensues.
From The Advocate.com: Roland Emmerich, the gay director of Hollywood blockbusters The Day After Tomorrow, The Patriot, and Independence Day, has pledged $150,000 to help support gay and lesbian film preservation through Outfest, the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
The largest gift in Outfest's 24-year history, this is the lead donation toward the Legacy Project, a three-year, $1.5 million campaign supporting the festival's new LGBT film preservation collaboration with the UCLA Film and Television Archive.
