Following on from our earlier report here that a UK satellite channel had picked up the rights to air Boston Legal some time this year, there's definite news for fans of James Spader.
Living have announced they will be airing the show from Monday 25th April, giving UK fans a chance to see Spader as Alan Shore, the role for which he picked up an Emmy in The Practice. He's joined in Boston Legal by genre favourite (and fellow Emmy winner) William Shatner and Stargate SG-1 alumnus Rene Auberjonois (better known to sci fi fans as Odo in Deep Space Nine).
It was revealed today at the Vulkon in Orlando, Florida, and confirmed by more than one guest that a major star will be returning to Stargate SG-1 for at least two episodes: the very first episode and the third episode. Avert your eyes now, if you don't want to know!
Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson) confirmed that Richard Dean Anderson will be appearing in at least two episodes of Stargate SG-1's upcoming 9th season -- the 1st and the 3rd -- which is now being filmed. He commented that he would be seeing Anderson on this coming Tuesday when they would be filming a Jack and Daniel scene for the 3rd episode. Carmen Argenziano (Jacob Carter) also confirmed that Anderson was appearing in an episode in a scene which was filmed in Los Angeles. Speculation is that this will be Anderson's appearance in the 1st episode, mentioned by Shanks.

Fan favourite Jason Schombing (best known to fans of Stargate SG-1 as the much-missed Dr Robert Rothman), hits the small screen again tonight alongside genre favourite James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel) in a television movie that is already garnering rave reviews.
In Cool Money, airing on USA at 9pm ET/PT, Schombing plays the detective cousin of Marsters' ex-con, who suspects he hasn't gone quite as straight on release from prison as everyone thinks - Schombing's performance is described by one reviewer as "almost a work of art".
