Don S Davis in season 9 return

Speaking at the recent Vulkon convention in Florida, Don S Davis revealed to convention goers that he's currently in talks with the makers of Stargate SG-1 about the possibility of returning to play General Hammond in a planned 9th season of the hit show, though the number of appearances he'll make still remains unclear.

On stage at the convention, Don talked about his initial reluctance to return at all in season 8, as well as the heart surgery during season 6 that led to his decision to take a break from the show. He also revealed that it was his fondness for both cast and crew of Stargate SG-1 that led to him changing his mind about returning when he was approached by the show's producers about the possibility of playing Hammond once more, saying he was easy to convince!
