Rene Auberjonois (Alar in the Stargate SG-1 season 4 episode 'The Other Side') has announced on his official website that he will be taking a recurring role in at least 3 episodes opposite the original Daniel Jackson, James Spader, in upcoming episodes of Spader's spin-off series Boston Legal.
Enid-Raye Adams, who played rogue NID agent Jones in the season 6 Stargate SG-1 episode 'Prometheus' and was the subject of an exclusive interview with Our Stargate earlier this year, will guest star in the upcoming final eight episodes of the sci fi series Jeremiah.

"Fun for the avid Stargate SG-1 fan or anyone looking for an action-packed sci-fi adventure," say SkyZone Entertainment about their planned mobile game, now in development following licensing agreements being signed with MGM Interactive.
According to their press release, their game "allows the player to take the role as Colonel Jack O'Neil, leader of the Stargate SG-1 team" in four adventures set in the SGC, on Abydos and elsewhere.

Good news and bad news: Peter Wingfield (popular villain Tanith on Stargate SG-1) has announced that he will be attending the Wolf SG-8 convention in London, November 5th-7th 2004. Unfortunately, the convention is already sold out, as Peter has been added to a packed line-up which comprises Michael Shanks, Chris Judge, Teryl Rothery, Don S Davis and Ronny Cox.

Peter Williams (Apophis) and Douglas Arthurs (Heru'ur) have supporting roles in Vin Diesel's new movie, The Chronicles of Riddick, which also stars Dame Judy Dench and Karl Urban. Another Stargate SG1 alumnus appearing is Christina Cox (Spirits, The Sentinel).

The launch of the Stargate SG-1 "Get In The Game" sweepstakes was announced today - win a unique prize, your chance to have your likeness used as a character in the Stargate SG-1 video game currently being developed.

Stargate movie lead Kurt Russell is currently 'Commander Stronghold' in the movie Sky High, which also stars Bruce Campbell (Xena: Warrior Princess and the Evil Dead movies) and Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) in a teen comedy about a school for superhero children.

Everyone, an independent film written, directed by and starring Stargate SG-1 guest star Bill Marchant (Adrian Conrad in the episodes '48 Hours' and 'Prometheus') will premiere at the Montréal World Film Festival (Festival des Films Monde), August 26 - September 6 2004.
"I couldn't be more pleased to premiere this film in Montréal - I spent the first five years of my life there," says Marchant about his movie, a romantic black comedy about the wedding day tribulations of an urban gay couple. "I'm incredibly proud of this movie."
Moviegoers with a good memory for faces may also recognise three of the other cast members of Everyone, each of whom has made a fleeting appearance in an episode of Stargate SG-1: Stephen Park ('The Other Side'), Andrew Moxham ('Cure') and Tom Scholte ('Prophecy').

This just in from SciFi Channel – the overnights for last Friday’s episode are the highest ever for a regular first-run SG-1 episode (on SciFi). The only episode to have surpassed it in the ratings (so far) has been the Season 8 premiere! For the first time ever, SG-1 has also surpassed Stargate: Atlantis in the ratings. Now that "Atlantis" is up and running, Wright and Cooper have their eye on returning "Stargate" to the big screen, but they've in some ways been a victim of their own small screen success. Their first pitch to MGM for a "SG-1" feature morphed into the plot for the series seventh-season finale; their second attempt became the two-hour opener of "Atlantis."
"In our hearts, we'd like to see it go back to being a feature," Wright says. "But having to do two series at one time is a classy problem to have."

Preliminary spoilers for episode 17 of season 8, entitled 'Threads', find Daniel contemplating impending danger or a return to ascended life in the company of Oma and an embodiment of his subconcious named Mike.
Elsewhere, Sam has doubts about her impending marriage to Pete and seeks out O'Neill, who has a girlfriend at his house. Kerry, a member of the SGC Professional Oversight Committee, gets the feeling something is holding O'Neill back from a commitment to her and makes a suggestion to O'Neill about his future.

From Chris Judge's appearance this weekend in Tampa comes the news that well-known, and multi-talented Wayne Brady (of Wayne Brady Show and Whose Line is it Anyway fame), is currently filming an episode of Stargate SG1.
Judge also shared that he's written one episode of SG1 so far this year and is working on a script for Stargate: Atlantis. He also hinted that a ninth season might be a go. He also said the Stargate direct to DVD movie announced at by Hank Cohen at Comic Con is definitely going to happen and will begin filming when the current season is finished.
