Due to the Season 8 SG-1 filming schedule changing (originally it was scheduled to end during the summer; filming is now due to continue through to September 15th), Wolfcon has announced that they are rescheduling Wolfcon SG-8 for November, 2004 in order to retain Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge as guests. Teryl Rothery and Jacqueline Samuda will also appear. The Wolfcon 10th Anniversary convention will be moved into the September timeslot originally intended for Wolfcon SG-8. A German Gateday is also scheduled for the end of October. Check out the Wolf Events Site for more information.

Peter "Tanith" Wingfield was "too hot for the airwaves" in some markets, apparently, but Our Stargate talked to him anyway!
You can read all about it here: Interview
Peter talks about his upcoming appearance on the erotic show "Bliss," working on the summer blockbuster "Catwoman," and a few other tidbits. Check it out and don't forget to stop by and chat with us at the Our Stargate forum!
At Infinitely Better. Thanks again to Elyse from SpoilMe.
A report on Infinitely Better seems to confirm what reported back on Feb 25th (info in post 11125) that Torri Higginson has nailed the role of DR. ELIZABETH WEIR, and that ROBERT PATRICK will appear in the pilot episode. And that JOE FLANIGAN has the Major Shepherd role.
Infinitely Better also reports:
"We can also reveal that the expected character Dr Ingram will now be played
by someone who is no stranger to Stargate, David Hewlett, who played Rodney
McKay in three episodes of SG-1. Whether the character will remain as Ingram or revert to McKay has not yet been revealed."
However, this appears to contradict casting notices put out so far for Dr. Ingram, listed as DR. BENJAMIN INGRAM. Brilliant, 40-50ish African-Canadian scientist who is responsible for the techie stuff. Doesn't possess some rare gene
(do any of us?) that would let him interface with the Ancient's technology.
So, we'll have to wait to see if David Hewlett indeeds joins the cast, as
McKay, Ingram (vastly changed) or another character.
Report from Elyse at SpoilMe.

Michael Shanks will be a guest at Starfest Con in Denver. From their website:
Mr. Shanks portrays Daniel Jackson on the syndicated science fiction TV show Stargate SG1. His character is a scientist instrumental for his vast knowledge of past ancient civilizations and mythology. After leaving the show for its sixth season, Michael returned (by popular demand) for its seventh. His departure from the series was worked into the storyline for several episodes and his return formed an arc pivotal to the premier of the seventh season.
Mr. Shanks will be signing autographs and participating in our Photo with the Stars Program on Saturday and Sunday and appear on our Main Events stage Saturday, April 17, 2004
Filming on Stargate: Atlantis was reported to begin yesterday, Feb 23rd.
The start date for Stargate: SG-1 has been moved to March 8.

WINTER PREMIERE OF STARGATE SG-1 SIZZLES
"The Sci Fi Channel's January 9 winter premiere of Stargate SG-1 was a scorcher. In fact, it was the most-watched episode of any original series in the Sci Fi Channel's history," writes Paul Gendreau. Odd choice of photo, though--a season 6 photo without Daniel for the Daniel-centric episode "Evolution, part 2."
