In a press release today, MGM confirmed that the main cast members of Stargate SG-1 will return for the two planned straight-to-dvd movies - as expected Ben Browder, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Claudia Black and Michael Shanks will appear in both Stargate: The Ark of Truth, and Stargate: Continuum.
The press release also gives spoilers for the movie plots, so look away now if you'd rather not know!
The first movie, Stargate: The Ark of Truth, is planned to tie up season 10's Ori storyline, as SG-1 take a trip to the Ori galaxy in search of an Ancient artifact that Daniel believes can destroy the Ori once and for all. Meanwhile, in Stargate: Continuum, our heroes find that history has been changed and the SGC effectively erased from the timeline - this is particularly bad news for both Vala and Teal'c!
