Legends Memorabilia, who sell a wide range of merchandise related to Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis and other shows, have issued a warning to fans of the shows regarding a recent case of fake autographed photos being sold on Ebay. The pictures in question, allegedly signed by Michael Shanks, were found to be forgeries and the relevant listings were removed from the auction site.
Concerned that fans are not misled into buying such fakes, Legends will continue to monitor autographed items put up for sale online and urge fans to contact them if they have any suspicion that signatures on an item listed for sale are fake.
