RDA talks SG, Simpsons and MacGyver

“Well, let’s put it this way, they didn’t kill me. Not that that would be a factor anyway in sci-fi,” says Richard Dean Anderson, when asked by Now Playing magazine about whether he planned to make any further appearances on Stargate SG-1 and spin-off show Stargate: Atlantis.

Talking at the Sci Fi Channel’s TCA press tour party, RDA talked about how much he'd missed being on the show, as well as talking about his MacGyver ad for Mastercard and fulfilling at least two cartoon characters lifelong ambitions by appearing on The Simpsons with Patty and Selma.
