Former Stargate SG-1 leading man Richard Dean Anderson ("Jack O'Neill") has filmed a new commercial for MasterCard which is now set to air during Super Bowl XL on Sunday, February 5.
In the ad Anderson slides down a wire, drives a semi truck through a
fence, and blows up a building -- then is found in a convenience store
purchasing replacements for all the things he used to make his escape
"priceless." The actor filmed a 30-second and 60-second version to
begin airing in regular rotation March 6.
The ad will air during the game's fourth quarter. Following the
premiere, MasterCard's Priceless.com will offer behind-the-scenes
footage and interviews from the filming of the spot.
Read more at RDAnderson.com! MasterCard International has a complete
run-down of the commercial, from air freshener to tube socks. Super
Bowl XL begins at 6 p.m. Eastern time on ABC. Thanks to Kelpie for the tip.
You can also download a version of the commercial here. Thanks to Elyse for the tip.
