Peter Wingfield, well known to Stargate SG-1 fans as the deliciously evil Goa'uld, Tanith, will appear in season 5 of the Emmy-nominated show "24" on Fox Broadcasting. Wingfield couldn't reveal details about his character but the Official Peter Wingfield Fan Club reports that Peter has a substantial part in episodes 2-4, including scenes with Keifer Sutherland, the star of the show. Season 5 airs in January 2006.
The fast-paced, well-written storylines, and strong acting has led the series to 11 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series for Kiefer Sutherland. For information about the show, visit the show's Web site here.
