Triple premieres mean Sci Friday dominates

Overnight ratings just in for the season premieres of Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica on July 15th mean that the Sci Fi Channel 'reasserts its dominance on Friday nights', says a press release from the channel.

Stargate SG-1 picked up 2,610,000 viewers (2.1HH), up 5% on the viewing figures from January's mid-season premiere episode, while Stargate: Atlantis followed on with an impressive 2,783,000 viewers (2.2HH) - up 6% from the show's January figures. The Battlestar Galactica premiere went on to rack up ratings of 3,053,000 viewers (2.6HH), making it the highest rated episode for that show to date.

Thanks to the SG-1_spoilme mailing list for the tip.
