It was revealed today at the Vulkon in Orlando, Florida, and confirmed by more than one guest that a major star will be returning to Stargate SG-1 for at least two episodes: the very first episode and the third episode. Avert your eyes now, if you don't want to know!
Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson) confirmed that Richard Dean Anderson will be appearing in at least two episodes of Stargate SG-1's upcoming 9th season -- the 1st and the 3rd -- which is now being filmed. He commented that he would be seeing Anderson on this coming Tuesday when they would be filming a Jack and Daniel scene for the 3rd episode. Carmen Argenziano (Jacob Carter) also confirmed that Anderson was appearing in an episode in a scene which was filmed in Los Angeles. Speculation is that this will be Anderson's appearance in the 1st episode, mentioned by Shanks.
