After a cameo as Dr. Hank McCoy in X2: X-Men United, movie website IGN Filmforce is reporting that Steve Bacic (best known to fans of Stargate SG-1 as either Major Coburn or Camulus, depending on how good your memory is) has missed out on the chance to play Beast, the transformed version of the character, in a larger role for the upcoming X-Men 3.
