Old and new SG both prove a draw

Ratings just released for the Stargate SG-1 season 8 finale episode 'Moebius, Part 2' in the UK show that the episode was watched by 813,000 viewers. The ratings for that episode are in dramatic contrast to the season high of 1.19 million for 'New Order, Part 2'. The season finale at least shows a creditable increase from the ratings lowpoint of 'Threads', watched by just 650,000 viewers.

This week's Stargate: Atlantis episode, 'The Gift', managed 602,000 viewers (with Atlantis now apparently holding steady in the UK ratings), while much-repeated Stargate SG-1 episode 'A Matter of Time' showed just why Sky loves to repeat the show with an impressive 360,000 viewers in the usually-quiet 6pm timeslot.
