Longtime Stargate SG-1 Special Effects guru James Tichenor, who left the series in Season 7 (to work on Stephen King's "Kingdom Hospital") has just announced that he will be returning to the Stargate fold to work on Stargate Atlantis. Besides serving as head of the special effects on SG-1 in the past, Tichenor also penned a couple of scripts during his tenure with the show.
