Michael Shanks Article in NY Daily News

From Yahoogroups SpoilMe list:

Stargate was mentioned in the TV Section of the NY Daily News today (Feb 6),
along with a head-to-shot of Michael Shanks. The text reads:

GALACTIC CHANGES FOR STARGATE SG-1

According to Michael Shanks, big changes are ahead for Stargate SG-1, SciFi Channel's No. 1 show. "We're taking off in a different direction this year for sure. It's almost like beginning again," he notes, "but in a good way. We do know that Richard Dean Anderson is stepping away from the show in a large
capacity, if not entirely. We have a new character played by Ben Browder of
FARSCAPE coming in to fill that void, and Claudia Black from FARSCAPE is coming in as well, so there's going to be a big shift as far as dynamic," explains Shanks. "The show's concept just has so many amazing possibilities that I think we've only just scratched the surface."
