
Celebrities braved deep-freeze conditions on Friday, January 7th, to race on skis and toboggans as part of an ecological fundraiser hosted by American environmental lawyer Robert Kennedy Jr.
Stargate SG-1 actor Richard Dean Anderson shrugged off the frigid weather, which caused some cameras to freeze up on fans hoping to capture an image of their favourite stars, who were often unrecognizable, heavily bundled in winter gear.
"I miss winter," said Anderson, who has spent the last eight years filming the sci-fi series Stargate SG:1 near comparatively balmy Vancouver.
"Being from Minnesota creates hardy stock," said Anderson. "I've got thick blood, thick head, the whole nine yards."
