SG continues to beat Atlantis in UK ratings

In the UK, new episodes of Stargate SG-1 continue to out-perform new episodes of Stargate: Atlantis in the ratings battle. Last week's season 8 episode, 'Icon', took 2nd place on Sky's top 10 most-watched programmes for that week with 920,000 viewers, while 860,000 tuned in for 'Thirty-Eight Minutes', the Atlantis episode that aired immediately afterwards.

Ratings for both episodes now appear to be remaining steady after numbers for Stargate: Atlantis initially went into a downward spiral after the two-part premiere, as reported here last month.

Thanks to Pauline on the Our Stargate forum for the tip.
