TV Guide have chosen "the smirky, sarcastic Jack O'Neill" as one of their 25 Greatest Sci-Fi Legends, in this week's edition. "Played with irreverent confidence by Richard Dean Anderson," they continue, "the snarky colonel has led Stargate to its place as one of the longest-running sci-fi series in television history."
